Nikon 7238 Action Ex Extreme 8 X 40
what would you recommend for a steady lower priced tripod for these? Dont want one that slips... do I need an adaptor also?

They make great carbon fiber light tripods but they are not cheap, do you have a price range in mind?

An inexpensive table top version, If I were you I would call the good people at SWFA and tell them what you need and how you will use it and I am sure they can help you.
I did not see the part about lower price before the previous post, I think you will need an adapter.

If you are using quality cameras and optics that is not a bad price and there are much more expensive ones out there for professional use. Just look around at some of the high end tripods
