Ok,

Finally found a scope to put on one of my AR's.  I found an AIMPOINT 9000SC red dot, on sale for $225! Big Smile

Now, this piece will most likely often be in the hands of noobie users, so I don't really want to drop too much $$'s into it.  I figured for $225 for the scope, I can't go wrong with that deal.  But now I don't want to end up putting almost that much into the mount either.

I was wondering what you all thought of these?

And if those are okay, which height should I go with, mounting the Aimpoint on a flat-top AR?

Thanks in advance.

I'd go with these myself, despite the price difference:

Good Choice RONK.  this is cheaper but I like the Warne. Personally I'd go La Rue but here is cheaper:

Thank you both.  Eventually, I'll end up putting a larue mount on it, but until then I just wanted to get something that would hold up to noobie's and range time.  The SS-Tac mounts look good to me. Wink

Now, next noob question, I've seen it stated on here from time to time, but will SWFA match prices, even if they are SALE prices?

Just curious.  If they did, that would be great, as I would be putting all my money here, rather than having to buy parts and pieces from all over the internet.

Again, thanks in advance.

http://swfa.com/About.aspx   110% low price guarantee  - there are some exclusions but it is always worth asking and if you are comparing apples to apples SWFA will be your best choice.
