I would like to get a good pair of binos, but stay somewhere around 500$.I have looked at the IOR's listed.I have heard they are good optics, never looked through any. They are porro
prism. Are there any clarity or brigtness that make roof or porro better.Id just like to hear some opinions on what everyone thinks would be best in the 500$ range

I have never tried the 10x40 version but highly recomend the B7x40 version. Great binos for the buck with good to very good low light optics. The optics are very sharp and clear and remind me a lot of the Hensoldt 7x50, though they are not really as bright.
Good 3D feeling and large eyepiece linses.
If you happen to froget your hammer at home you can easily hammer nails with the bino or in case you run out of shots kill the boar by hitting him in the head with the bino .
Nice eyepiece rubbers that melt with your face, fogfilters and pretty nice linsecaps and rainguards make them a valuable choice.
I saw one on Ebay for $120 which would be a really great price for such a pair.

Tested the IOR 10x40 the other day and I have been quite dissapointed by the result. I found them opticaly, clearly inferior to the 7x40. I would not recomend them.
