Well since this was my thread that got brought back to life from 2 years ago I will update it on what happened. I saved a while longer, sold a shotgun and went all out and ended up with this..http://swfa.com/Leupold-65-20x40-VX-3-30mm-Riflescope-P12733.aspx And could not be happier! I absolutly love it. and the Varmint hunters reticle is simply a joy to use. After a few shots on a dog town to figure out the exact yardage they were, its amazing how consistant you can be. My farthest kill was 585yards! on the second shot!

The new redfield revenge has a specific scope the varmint hunters 6-16 power it has a totally differently calibrated rangefinder for varmint critters check it out before you spend more than 219
