HOWDY
I find this board is a good place to get advise.
Iam a cast bullet shooter and in the process of upgrading my optic stable.
I shot cast about 15 years ago and now just returning.
The optics I used back then are lacking in comparison to the modern products available.
By this I mean my old optics are a lower grade and did a marginal job at the time.
Presently I have started to shoot production and military CBA.
For my production optics I have focused on the Weaver T/36 but having trouble choosing a 6 power for the Military rifle. The Military end only allows 6 power and I would like to switch off with my M1a.
So far I have narrowed the field to the Weaver 6K and the Leupold 6x42AO with a dot.
Because 6 power is not all that popular there isn't a lot of info on these scopes.
Have any of you/all had any hands on with the two scopes I mentioned?
What is comparable to these two models. I know they are at different ends of the scale and any advise is welcome and ThanksBig Grin

Thanks for the reply.
I will have to start more research. As I mentioned, The products available today much different than they used to be.
This is the first time I have seen this scope and it's what Iam looking for.
Can you tell me where it is made and the optics?
ThanksBig Grin

It is made for SWFA (the owners/operators of this site and WWW.SWFA.COM) .  They own the SS line of scopes.  They are arguably some of the toughest scopes out there.  A member on here ran over his 10x with a truck, messed up the gun but scope was fine.  You will not fine a tougher 6X on the market, IMO

I've owned a 10X42M and SVT is right.  You wouldn't find anything better in the price range.
