This is my first group out of my Remington 700 VTR in .204 Ruger with HS precision stock. Shooting was done prone at 100 yards off a bipod, no sand bags. Used Federal 39gr Sierra Blitzkings. Wind was between 20-25mph from 10 to 4 O'clock. Considering how light the bullet is and how bad the wind was I am pleased with it. I pulled the one shot I know, I felt it. I am not used to that 5lb+ factory trigger. All of mine are under 3lbs. The second group is 4 shot group done by a buddy of mine with my gun and all conditions were the same. We both loved the rilfe and he was extremely happy with his group. He said it was his best group ever. Personally I'm ready to get back out there a put 5 touching so he will shut up. Wink

hmmm, seems you both missed the quarter.

Nice shooting.  Excellent

Looks great.  Just imagine what improvement handloads and a trigger will do to those already tight groups!

That and how crappy the wind was I think the wind constatly changing so much was the main factor. Some of the gusts were pushing me around. After I get everythign the way I want it I will take the time to set up everything right and see how she does.
