Been lurking in this forum for a while, finally took the time to join. So here goes, I'm mounting a redfield revolution 2-7x33 on a newer style short action BLR (.358 win). I currently have weaver bases, and I would like to mount scope as low as possible. What rings do I need? Should I use different bases to achieve a lower setup? Thanks in advance...Hammertime

You could add Warne rings, they are pretty low.  I used them on my marlin lever gun with a Weaver base and it is quite low.

Also you could get Talley ring mounts.  They are a ring and base all in one package.  They also will get you very low.

I looked at the Talley one-piece mounts but I couldn't locate the correct part # for a BLR. I'll keep lookin.

I think I may order a set. If they don't work on the BLR I have 2 BAR's and a BPR Big Smile. Thanks supertool.
