Question? I know the Viper 2 x 7 scopes are parallax free at 100 yards. I am thinking about getting one for a rim fire 22lr. At the lower magnification ranges of this scope, will targets be to out of focus at 50 yards.be

Not for me . It will work well at 10 yds on the lower power. On low power Parallax is not much of a problem I don't have the actual number but I think it is under 1/2 inch at most under 100 yards.

At lower power, the focus is ok because the depth of field is longer, but the max parallax error is still constant. 1/2" can miss a squirrel at that distance. |

I have the viper 2x7 on my MP15-22. It works just fine for the 50 yard line.

I also think this would make a great rimfire scope, very nice optics!
