Howdy - I'm looking for a quick way to check 30mm ring alignment before I mount my new scope that's inbound tomorrow. Unfortunately I did not plan ahead and pick up any alignment bars. None of the gun shops around seem to have them and I'm assuming 30mm steel bars aren't readily available at Home Depot but I plan to check on the way home tonight. Do you guys have any good tricks to use to check the ring alignment?
Thanks!

What type of base and rings are you going to use? If you use the Burris Signature Select rings this is never a problem. Welcome to the OT

Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.
Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow Now the rules have changed again. |

The mount is a B&T for an HK. I was going to use some Warne rings temporarily since my Burris Sigs were backordered. Fortunately, the Sigs shipped from SWFA today so it's moot now.
