I'm looking for info from owners of Kahles 2-7x36 rimfire scopes. Were they designated "rimfire" on the scope bodies? Without the box, how can you tell a rimfire from a centerfire scope? The parallax adjustment is the main difference from what I would gather, I just wondered if they are marked differently so that you could tell by looking at them.

Have not seen a "rimfire" designation on any of the American Hunter series that I have come across.  I know the CLs did not have any rimfire designation.  I have not seen a parallax adjustment on any 2-7 scope of either model.

I could be wrong though...

I don't think it was an external parrallax adjustment, I beleive the rimfire models were adjusted to 50yds form the factory with other versions set at 100yds?? Also, I believe the rimfire versions were made prior to the AH series, but I certainly may be wrong! Someone will chime in here with the correct info I hope.....

Jack welcome to the OT. You are correct. On the rimfire version parallax was set at 50 meters. The Rimfire version glass is a grade under the CL. I have the CL on a 17HMR and parallax has not been an issue.

Would love the Kahles quality, but want more than 32mm brightness...
