 First off Welcometo OT!

How old is your Lynx?  Maybe take it to a local Pro Shop and let them put it on a scale for you.

Try pressing the bow, removing one end of the string and twisting it up a few turns. If the string is old or showing any signs of fraying or wear, replace it immediately.

That's awesome, I saw the picture of him passed out and glad to see that he got to go out. I know I was the same way with my dad, but he didn't have it in him to wake me up.
Our first trip out was not good at all. The Davey Crockett NF is about two and half hours from his house and when I was nine he took me out there.
I just joined the NRA and I looked like an airport becon walking through the woods.
About ten am, we started to walk back to the truck and I was about ten feet in front of him when some one shot because they heard rustling. When we got back to the truck I told him if this is what hunting is like count me up.
I couldn't belive that someone would shoot at noise without seeing game.
Then a couple years later a friend of mine, freshman year invited me to go out with them and I told no, he asked why and I told him. He said" Oh we're not deer hunting and you won't have to worry about getting shot at.
Cool, what are ya'll hunting?
Ducks!
Really?
Yeah, you should go.
Long story short, I went and I have been hooked.
Then this year with a bow.
I LOVE IT!
I haven't been able to close the distance yet, come close. But I have learned that I have to hunt as much as possible and just be relentless with my pursuit.
I'm hoping to put one down this weekend. Jake and I are going to the lease.
