I have a VX 3 6x42 fixed power. I haven't mounted it on anything yet but I will let you know how it compares to some of my other scopes. Initial impressions are pretty good though.

I don't have the Burris but do have the others. To my eyes, they are about equal.
If we're not suppose to eat animals...how come they're made of meat?

IMHO the new VX-3 is pretty good, the one 3x9 Leupold VX-3 I compared to a 3x9 Zeiss Conquest was slightly better, especially when I looked into the shadows and at dusk.
Several guys I hang out with say the VX-3's are a big improvement over the VX-III and are close to some of the European scopes.
Illiya has had a chance to test and compare some of the new VX-3's, check with him when he returns from the SHOT Show.
Make sure you at least look through and compare one.
Good luck.
Thanks
Art
Good day.

I put the VX-3s right there next to conquest.

I bet Gremcat's 6X42 is a FX-3 though, Wink.

This is true, never saw a V fixed anything.
