That looks like an Oneida bow to me.
Appers to be a Black Eagle. Check the Oneida website, go to "Products" and look under discontinued bows.

Use Caution you may need to replace the cable on an older bow to be safe.

Wow, I shot one (or one like it) of those years ago that my friend had. Never thought I would see one again. Pretty cool bow.

Thats the plan! The only open season AZ has for deer is archery. Everything else is a lottery draw.

Right now the draw length is way to long. I can pull it all the way to my ear... And I want to get a release. Other than that the bow came with 12 carbon arrows, but they need cut and the inserts glued in. The old pin-site will probably do for awhile. I also need to see about getting a peep installed. And oh ya I need to learn how to shoot it!

I HOPE you can get the draw length down to what you need.
I can't remember what the d/l adjustment range is on them(if any).
I've got an old Cobra lighted fiber optic site your welcome to if you'd like.
Just needs batts.

Thanks G! It is probably going to take awhile, as I don't know what I don't know yet... And I am going on the road for three weeks starting in a few hours. And I found out the only shop that MIGHT be able to adjust the draw length is down in Phoenix . So anyway it is going to be a project, and learning curve. My wife is not excited...

Either way let me know so I can send the stuff to you and they can mount it for you if need be. I'll be glad to help, if you need a new string or cables, let BD know he knows a fella that makes them and they are suppose to be top notch, I'll be getting a set for my bow later this year.

I agree, I would even attempt to draw that without replacing the string.

I hunted with oneida eagle for a few years,it was loud but the speed made up the difference. They are a good bow and not hard to get accustomed to.

They are proven good bows but,, Your most important task is to find someone who remembers how to tune it. I know two brothers who had one each. One shot great and was quiet and the other was very inconsistant and loud. The issue turned out to be one wasn't properly tuned. The brace hight can be tricky and adjusting the draw length is not as simple as some bows. I wish I could remember more details but it has been 15yrs or more since they had them. If you can get it in the hands of the right tech you'll have a good time with it. If you can't don't let it turn you off from bow hunting just find you a single cam Hoyt or Matthews and keep slangin sticks.
Good Luck!!
