I have seen many of these on ebay and various websites for 100 bucks but im not real sure about them. Does anyone know anything about them ? Heres a few websites with them
Competitor information removed... I just purchased a .308 dpms and im getting a Eotech but i want a cheaper magnifier and i love the variable ones if there any count. Please read and observe the rules you are required to acknowledge prior to becoming a member of the OT Forum. One clearly states that it is not allowed to post "competitor" links/information on the OT. As for your question, I, personally, do like magnifiers... they may have a use, but I prefer a unit designed, stand alone, for all the functions I require.

Shawn,
The only thing that would worry me is eye relief. Don't know how accurate their measurements are but my guess it you're going to be a little closer than 40 mm on the high power. Trying to make a precision shot with minimal eye relief on a .308 platform might get a little uncomfortable. Just my 0.02
