New forum member needing advice
Looking to get into F-TR using my 308 win and need a good scope. only problem is I am limited to about a $500 max budget. Will be a dedicated competition scope I have a hunting scope I can put back on if I hunt with it

Any recommendations on what scope I should be looking at?

Thanks for the help everyone

Your budget really limits,  but check these out

The sightron and Weaver have very limited internal adjustments, you would definitely need a canted base, and maybe some burris z rings.

Although if you could come up with $400 dollars more, this puppy would be a great scope for your need:

+1 as above

Other option go to the SWFA sample list.I have gotten lots of very good buys from them over the yrs.Call & ask for Dave he will set you straight on a good scope .Don't forget about a good ring set up also, some good deals used.

Thanks. Sightron SIII 8-32x it is but now still not 100% sure on reticle style best suited for F class for best aiming/alignment on target. FCH would be a good one but what about the 1/4 and 1/8 DOT reticles?

I will take a look at SWFA sample list like suggested

Thanks
