im looking for a scope that i can use for shooting and coyote hunting. I live in a highly wooded area where most of my shots will come at <100yrds. But i will hunt in open fields where it can get out to 200 to 250. I have decided on the leupold Vxr but cant decide on the 1.25-4 or the 2-7. will i have enough light transmission with the 1.25-4 in low light because iam swaying that way?????

I have the 3-9x version of this scope, but haven't seen the lower magnification models.

I have the VX-R 2-7x33 and love it. Looks good, size wise, and I wouldn't hesitate to shoot aq coyote at 300 yards with it.

I wasn't upset about the black cat crossing my path this morning but mouthing "your fu@#ed" as he passed was just rude.
