I purchased the Optisan Mamba 1-4x24 with the mount combo March of '11. I was just able to open the box today...I opened the box and  turned it on and the illumination knob fell into my hand. Seriously, this is cr@p. What will SWFA do to fix this error?

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Wow...I hope me commenting on how poor Quality a specific optic is will not affect the professionalism in how they handle this matter, but in my past dealings with them I don't really expect them to stoop that low.

Now as to the the "rules" I guess I must have missed "rule #6" oops my mistake.

Sorry, to "offend" anybody by this post, but if I save just 1 person from spending 159.00 plus shipping on this item than it was worth it.

Dude. Just call them and send it back and get a new one. Good hell, at least give them a chance to make it right. Your acting like your some terrible victim here, stuff breaks. Suck it up and go through the steps to get it repaired or replaced.

Its not that big of a deal.

I understand the frustration you feel.

Don't take it personal.

Ask SVT what it is like to get something out of the Box that isn't right.

I have had the same experience as you.

The replacement scope has seen 2000+ rounds and just a torture test on my part.

I have beat the snot out of that scope and it keeps tracks fine.

I have enjoyed the reticle I don't use it for ballistics just point and shoot plinking little army men.

No one

You gots a lemon.  I loved the Optisan I had, its been passed on to another user, last I heard he's still happy with it.

Just cause one fails don't mean you should bash the brand.  Give them a chance.  Now if you send it back to get repaired and it still don't work bash to hell and back..... like a 1300 dollar Browe POS!

No offence meant; But why not wait to see what SWFA will do before posting.  It sounds like you are hollering before you give them a chance to make it right.
