i've read mil dots are .2 MOA(cover 3/4" in at 100 yds)
Actually, i'd really like a scope where i would not have to use turrets, just aim through a known spot on the crosshairs and shoot. our club course has 50 metal shapes from 50 ft to 166 yds-five at each of ten stations. i've been using a 6-24x44 BSA platinum contender on a 1710D std barrel; ran out of money when i bought the Annie, but now i'd like to upgrade. Appreciative of all the help as i just got back into .22.

Have you checked out the Pride Fowler 22 holdover scope. It sounds like its just what you ordered.

Double check your math, or your source on m.o.a. measurement. A Minute of Angle is actually 1.047" at 100 yards. .2 m.o.a. is .2094" at 100 yards, less than 1/4" (.250). That might make your decision easier.
That range sounds Awesome, too!

rjclay, I just re read your .2 moa comment. My math was right on the m.o.a. part. However, .2 mils is actually about .72 inches at 100 yards, so the mil dot cover up is right. Sorry for the confusion, and good luck with the search.
