Hello OT stuff and members! I'm about to get one of the rangefinders, and I'm willing to spend up to 200$ Right now looked through Bushnell and Nikon models, but not sure which of them can be switched to metric measurements. Also, if any of you used both models - can you please give a short review with cons and pros of each model? Right now I'm looking closely at http://swfa.com/Bushnell-4x20-Yardage-Pro-Sport-850-Laser-Rangefinder-P48398.aspx and http://swfa.com/Nikon-6x21-ProStaff-3-Laser-Rangefinder-P51924.aspx or should I waste little more money on this weaver? It is said that it shows meters/yards/feet (I need only meters) http://swfa.com/Weaver-8x28-Laser-Rangefinder-P51681.aspx Thanks in advance! |

They are all decent, limited units. Do not know your ranging needs but a Leica is well worth the extra money. I have a an old 600 model (probably 8 years old) that still works perfectly in spite of being dragged over hill and dale from 30 below to 110 above. The optical quality is so good that you can leave the binocs home if you're looking at game <300 yards.
