I have a old model ruger M77 in the 22-250 varmit configuration... with my hand loads it puts a 40gr nosler Btip (at 3700fps) into .6 moa (3 shots after 2 "foulers") provided it is not allowed to overheat. Right now it is wearing a burris compact 4-12x.

I have recently gotten to like the mildot type recticle which I have on a very high end magnum air rifle, and have heard very positive things about your super sniper scopes.

I know that you usually recomend the 10 power super sniper scope, but I am going to be shooting small (pd size)targets out to about 500 yrds and I think I may like a higher magnification as with its current scope it always stays at 12 power and it is always shot off of bags, and I do find that I'd like to see a bigger target image.(I usually shoot my AirArms S410e at 18x).

So... all this concidered are you still going to recomend the SWFA in 10x or do you think I'd be happier with a 16x or 20x?

Regards,

Scott in GJ CO

With your past experience, intended targets and method of shooting a 16x would be perfect.
