Starts out with a Forster Co-Ax, walnut media tumbling, Lee Zip Trim

Looks like shooting a M1A 308 but not sure

Scope?

Lots of AR's at the end

Good kick-ass movie
Guns only have 2 enemies, rust and politicians

BUt a significant departure from the books.  I can't say that is a bad thing, the books were so riddled with bad research I had to quit reading them.

The shooting details were interesting, some of the tactics were terrible. The movie had better technical advisors than the author of the books does.

If you like Tom Cruise, it is a good flick.

Respect is something you earn.
Equality is something you whine about not being given.

Here is a link to the firearms used in the movie. They pretty much have the firearms used in any movie you are curious to know what they are.

Wanted to see this, but did not get the chance to. And as far as tech advisers are concerned I hear that they did a better job on Collateral.

I really like the books, find them very entertaining and fast reads. I don't have the back ground to be critical enough to stop reading the series because of bad research, even if I did I think I'd still read 'em. Perfect when traveling, etc.

As for the movie, when I heard Cruise was going to be Reacher I thought terrible choice. The character in the book is more the size of someone like the Rock. Cruise seemed to pull it off though and I thought it was a good movie as well.   Thunbs Up

I read one Jack Reacher book.  I was astounded at how bad it was.  Lots of shooting and violence, etc., but it didn't make much sense.  I could not believe that these books were....like, popular!!

Then I heard they were going to make a movie....I figured they would get Arnold Schwarzenegger or Godzilla to play the part.  Then I heard they were going to get TOM CRUISE!!

Yeah Ed but with your highly intellectual mind you maybe especially hard to please, I remember a few movies you commented on that were hilarious to many but you hated 'em.  Wink
