Hey All,

I just bought a Daystate Airwolf Tactical MCT pcp air rifle.  I wanted to see what scopes you would recommend for it if any of you have this particular rifle.  Yes, I know its awesome... so I want a very good scope for it... might not be able to affort Shmidt & Bender but I'd like something really good.

Will be doing target, plinking and range shooting.  Looking at Zeiss and Leupold scopes so far.  Heard of another company called March.  Won't buy Hawke.

Thanks for your input,

TBonez

Air Rifle - $2500. Air Rifle.  OK  granted its a nice air rifle but I'm missing something what makes this suitable for "Tactical" Use, and what is the purpose - how will it be used.   When I think of a pellet gun Im thinking about shooting squirrels so is this for some type of competitive shooting or what do you have in mind particularly what type of distance to target do you expect?
I will throw out a couple of scopes which might work for you and give us a bit of feedback on what your thoughts are. If you prefer I can certainly point you toward some very expensive scopes but I think these would be adequate for most needs and have either an adjustable objective or side focus which you will need.

On the Lewis and Clark expedition they used an air rifle to kill elk.  Actually it was their primary hunting arm.  "We" cannot reproduce the air rifle they used, but I can see a "tactical" air rifle being possible.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

Pretty sure the Lewis and Clark air rifle was a repeater as well. A tactical air rifle is possible but not in .177 cal at under 900 fps which is where this one is.  Tactical Air rifle might be one of the Korean models that shoots .45 cal or .50 cal slugs if its quiet enough. http://www.americanairgunhunter.com/909.html
