Have a bud that ask me the other day what scope offers the best quality for the buck for his Rifle in 22 LR. His budget is $200.00 and under any ideas? I was think of looking into the Hawke line.
Enough is to much.

I put a simple Bushnell Banner 3.5-10x36 with an AO on my .22 lr for <$90 shipped.  It's not a Swarovski or a Sightron, but it's clear and plenty good enough for plinking squirrels with.

I put a Mueller on my savage .22 & I'm very happy with it. Well worth $169.00. It's very bright & sharp.

For hunting or target??

I like the Weaver 2-7x Rimfire. I have one mounted on my CZ 452.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

I have an older 2-7 X 32 Nikon Monarch on my Kimber 82 that was made in Oregon.

I've had a Burris rimfire on a Ruger m77/22 .22mag for 3 years now, and it is working out very well. I also like that little weaver 2-7!
