Man, it's a cold son of a pup over here in NC. Going back down to 10* tonight. Glad I got a wood stove and bunch of red and white oak.

We got cold but the wind stayed up... no frost anywhere around my house. It definitely was not as cold as predicted. This weekend we will be back in the low to mid 80's.

Southern bugs aren't used to this kind of cold weather… still dropping like flies...

I hope the cold helped kill off the biting midges that have transmitted EHD to so many Montana whitetail. In this part of the state though we're back up to 40 today.

Hope the cold kills off all the stink bugs we had this year. It was like a plague of those darn things this year. 
They were everywhere.
