I dont have a big budget here so im working with $200.
The gun is a 20" .308 Vepr, i will be using it to target shoot at various ranges from 50 to possibly 500 yards. I am looking at the Nikon Prostaff 4-12 mil-dot reticle and the fixed 10 power Bushnell Tactical elite. Nikon has an offer to mail you a mildot master if you pay the shipping. Which seems like a great deal but with the variable power the yardage changes depending on what its adjusted to and im sure that will get confusing (although i could just leave it on 10 power) I like that the bushnell has external turret adjustments and since it lacks any power adjustment the rest of the scope might be of better quality/durability than the nikon? Which scope has better clarity and has the better track record for durability? |

While looking through online reviews of the Bushnell it seems that they made a 3200 and a 4200. I cant find any info on this when buying a new scope is there a difference in quality? do they even have 4200 models anymore?

The 10x fixed is a 3200, I believe.
