Pride Fowler's scopes seem to have a pretty good reputation but ran across this recently.  Price point is considerably lower than PF's centerfire rifles and curious if anyone has given this one a run.

PFI RR EVOLUTION SCOPE 22LR 3-12X42MM

The price runs around $350, which is pretty high for a scope designed for rimfires but interesting reticle.

I was very interested in them..... until I read they are made in China.

I've seen some conflicting info on where they are made.  In some posts, it reflects Japan.  In others China.  Latter causes me concern as well.

Nothing conflicting there.  Give them a call to confirm if you'd like I have,  they are 100% made in china.

Don't dispute your info.  Appears some of their higher end products are manufactured in Japan, which probably explains the price difference between those and the rimfire version.

I'm not against China made stuff of certain things, I just don't believe that, THAT scope, with all its features, can be properly executed coming out of china.

I'm tracking.  Reviews are sparse and those that do exist focus mainly on the reticle.  At least PFI is a stand up Company.

Little expensive though to just give it a whirl with the hope that it will work out.

Response from PFI

"Thank you for your inquiry and interest.  I think the RRE-22LR will compliment your weapon system very well.  This particular optics in made at our affiliate's facility in China.  The factory has US owners. Our mil-spec line is made in Japan, and our USO-PFI line is made here at the US Optics facility.

What questions do you have about the RRE-22LR?  The optic has a lot of great features including illumination, spectacular glass, and the new reticles allows for instant ranging on 9" objects out to 220 yards.

I hope that helps.  Please let me know if I can answer any questions that you may have.  Thanks!"
