Guys, I wanted to wish all of you a Happy and Safe Fourth of July.

Started off with a couple practice shots.

Then everything started up and I started shooting.

Overall I shot just over 70 images, here's a couple I thought turned out pretty well.

And finally one I played with in Post.

Camera: Nikon D7000
Lens: Nikkor DX 16-85mm 1:3.5-5.6G ED
Settings:
Manual Mode
Manual Focus
Shutter: 8 seconds
Aperture: F8
Even Exposure
ISO: 100
All were shot NEF (RAW)

Skylar  mount the camera on a sturdy tripod set it on bulb so the shutter stays open and us a black card or you hand to start and stop the exposure by holding it in front of the lens,  to get multiple fireworks on the same frame like a double exposure.

I was expecting the fireworks would be further away, so I brought a fixed 100mm lens. However, they were too close to capture a bunch of bursts in the same frame @ 100mm. Oh well...
