If your priority is low light, look at an illuminated reticle.

Are you doping the reticle or the turret?  Please explain how using in a practical sense and we can help with recommendations that fit best.

Well, low light isn't really the priority.  Frankly, I like the entire package with the exception of the dot.  You can't see it or maybe I should say, you can barely see it if you take your time and your putting it on something contrasting like white or relatively light color.  You'll lose it virtually every time it passes through a shadow and you need to stop, and try extra hard to pick it back up.  Fine for recreational range use I'm sorta of the mindset that even a range toy should translate reasonable well to the field.  Not that I bought it for a range toy, in fact quite the opposite.

I took it out to the range today.  I put the scope on a new rifle.  Placed the target @ 50 yds and took 1 shot at the center.  Was just over 4 mils high and dead center.  I made a quick adjustment for a 100 yd zero and moved the target out to 100.  The scope adjusted just about perfectly, grouping only 1/2" left.  That was easy.  Really easy.  Doping isn't the problem.  Turrets are fine or should I say very fine.  Positive clicks and for a quickie range trip, they're going great.  With that fine dot, in bright sunlight against a white background, you'll aim like never before but that dot needs to be a smidge larger and red if your shooting for anything more substantial than bragging rights on an egg or something.  Some people would say the dot needs to be illuminated but I'm not in that camp.  I have illuminated scopes but I'd be hard pressed to tell you if the batteries are any good because on a practical basis, it doesn't get used in my world.

I guess it's kinda a rant but I'm going to keep this scope on this gun till it costs me a paycheck.  Maybe a decision maker will take note down the road.  Or not... it's out of my hands.
