I am upgrading the 1.75-5 burris ff on my hawkeye African 375 ruger. I am upgrading because the light gathering of this old fullfield is terrible and gives an orange tint when looking through.
I am currently looking at: Leupold VX3 1.5-5X Minox ZA5 1.2-6X Any other options or suggestions? I really like the straight tube look on big bore rifles, but the only other option I could find was the Swaro z6 but that is out of the budget. |

What about a SWFA SS HD 1-6? It would be robust, has excellent quality lenses, and comes with a great reticle. Only downsides are that it is heavy (22oz.) and the turrets are taller than a true hunting scope. |
