Hi all, I am soliciting your help with a Reflex sight purchase. It is for a S&W M&P 9mm handgun with the C.O.R.E system which has a notched slide to accommodate one of the following (per S&W) reflex sights: Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point, Jpoint, Doctor, C-More STS, Insight MRDS. The Burris Fastfire and Eotech is not listed as with others. I do not know if there are real mounting conflicts with these added options. I do want a some kind of inertial or movement sensing power on. I am ok without supplemental illumination like with the Trijicon. I am leaning towards the Leupold. I know this has not been Leupold's market vs. Doctor and others. I am just looking for a some feedback on what to look for or what to stay away from. Thank You |

I have used the Burris FastFire and Trijicon RMR, and I think the FastFire and Doctor take the same mount - but verify that.
Personally, I prefer the RMR if only because there is no "on" switch and it is ready to use when needed. These sites take some time and effort to get accustomed to, but are quite fast and accurate once you unlearn traditional site alignment and site picture. My singular piece of advice is to only mount one on a pistol that indexes, for you, exceedingly well. The window is small and getting the dot in that window can be a challenge, unless you index well. The RMR is more than the doctor and the fastfire, but that is for good reason. I do not buy Leupold products so cannot commend on that option.

I have both Trijicon RMRs and FastFires on some of my autos. Love them both, but like RC said the RMRs are nice because they are always ready.
