I'm keeping my options open for a scope, but unfortunately one of the scopes I'm considering has a 36mm tube. If I can't find a maker/seller is it possible to have a shop mill out a pair of 35mm rings to 36mm?
Maine? Where's that?

Spuhr makes 36mm in a single piece mount.

It's the Zeiss Victory V8 4.8-35x60.
They're not that expensive compared to S&B and Hendsolt. Only drawback is limited reticle choice and adjustment range. A 20 MOA base should help a bit and removing the Zero Stop pin. I'd prefer 1st FF too.
I'm hoping optical quality isn't sacrificed with the 8X optical system.
I found some 36mm Recknagel rings, but the max height is only 12mm. I was told they would work with the 60mm objective, I'm having some doubts. It'll be mounted on a Weatherby Mark V Accumark in the factory 30-378 profile barrel (338 Lapua Improved)

Era-tac makes a 36mm mount as well.  Same price range as Spuhr and have an innvoative adjustable incline.

The Eratac is a really nice mounting system.  I ran across one by accident on a friend's rifle.  Wish I had known about them earlier.  I will have some soon.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.
