well I guess my question is,  besides the trophey costing the most what makes it better specs and performance wise than the bannor. either scope will be going on a gamo shadow 1000 ( advertised but not likely to get 1000 fps muzzle velocity). I will need to hear things like clarity, moa ( if one has more clicks in either direction than the other if anyone knows) and if the cheaper scope will hold up and perform good on my air rifle. I am not dead set on not buying the more expencive scope, but if the cheaper scope will do the job adequately enough I would prefer to spend less cash.

also are either of these scopes offered with a different reticle, perhaps 321 low light or mildot

I am tired of shopping around and would like to have done with all of this iron sight shooting by the end of the week so if at all possible i would like some answers by tomarrow morning

thanks everybody

DON'T get one of the other scopes with a different reticle, you will have to live with a regular duplex. Because bushnell makes a high quality line of adult break-barrel airgun scopes and a different reticle would mean it wouldn't be built for the backwards recoil. The two scopes discribed are about the same max internal adjustment. But in my personal opinion the trophy is worth it for the much better clarity and light transmission. They will probably hold up just as well as the other as far as how long they last. My personal opinion; banner belongs on a gamo, trophy belongs on a beeman.

Oh, by the way, I have a gamo CFX, fixed barrel offers exactly the same accuracy as other gamo break barrel guns, and advertises 1000 fps while it actually shoots an average of 900fps.

Remember, when it comes to airgun scopes, bushnell is actually the top of the line.

let me know what you do

anthony

I know the beeman air rifles are probably better quality products than are the gamo's, but is there any specific reasons that you think the trophey belongs on the beeman and the banner belongs on the gamo. Is it because the beeman's recoil harder than the gamo's or is there something else.

oh' and thanks for the input, I think if the trophey has better clarity I'll go with it since I will be doing most of my shooting at dusk and by the light of a streetlamp at my work. I am a security gaurd and have received special orders to kill kill kill. We have a horrendous rat problem and Im the only one who has an air rifle. So in light of this new evidence what would you say.

I had the same problem with moles, and I bought a lab and greyhound mix that catches and eats everything, except a turtle, which she just sat ther barking at until I went nuts and went outside and found it.

I said that a trophy belongs on a beeman because most beemans are higher end than gamo, and trophys are brighter and clearer, also the turrets look like they will have more clicks in there life, so they should be on a nice rifle. although I bought a weatherby vangaurd last year for about 450$ and put a zeiss conquest on it for 700$.
