You are not likely to find the same "toughness".

Look at the Swift Premier line of scopes.  I've had great success with them.  I have a friend who purchased an 8-32 for target shooting with his CZ .22.  He is winning competitions with it regularly.

Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

I honestly don't require the same toughness , I just don't want to waste money on a scope that is overpriced and above all has bad optics

let us know what you get.  There is a limited range of quality scopes that will take airgun recoil.

Joe. I use the 10x42M SS scopes on all my Beeman R1 Supermagnums. I am getting ready to switch to the 3-15 SS scopes.
The SS scopes are internally braced front and back.
I used one to impress the Southern Michigan Gun Club Pneumatics club last year at their 100 yard shoot. I shot a 33 year old R1 that shot 560 fps in .177 cal. Those .25 pcp guys were amazed when i started to ring the 100 yard bell.
I gave a class on the use and measurement of retical and turret movement divisions.
Sadly, they realized, their cool little scopes did not posess this as their reticals were not true scales. And their turrets did not move precicely.
Just pick an SS and go shootin!
