Anyone had hands on yet? Thoughts?
It sucks getting old and being out of the loop to play with toys before they hit the shelves. This might be a domestic version of the Tavor, but an ambi version, and a switch-caliber, which is very cool.

I've only seen it at SHOT. I will own one approximately four seconds after they make a California legal version (they promised that they will do so).

Well thought out idea with the dual magazine release and location of the bolt release. Like the 7.62 magwell in the frame with the 5.56 insert.
It will be interesting to see how the trigger is, given the natural limitations of the bullpup design. Price point of $1999 for the 5.56 version and $2249 for the 7.62 isn't too far off the mark of the Tavor or AUG. |

Lots to like, reliability is the question.
Price wise, they are well in line with other 308 AR platforms. |

So anyone ever pick one of these up or at least put hands on? Appears they aren't shipping orders yet due to supplier issues, but that seems resolved.

Nope, fell off the face of the earth. Were it an issue that lasted a few months, I'd understand; now going on a year, I think I'll let someone else pay to beta test it.

I want one. 308 of course. I'm a sucker for bullpups.

I figured I should bring this thread back to life, now that MDR is shipping.
Has anyone gotten their hands on it yet? ILya

I spent some time with one, it didn’t feel substantial, and I didn’t care for the recoil cycle.
I’m not lining up to invest. But I am picky. |

Any hands on time with other bullpups (Tavor, RFB, etc)?

Not really, other than SRS - which I both liked and didn’t like.
I shoot ambi often, so design on bullpups gets interesting - as weak-side firing is not usually their strength. |

ILya, I don't suppose you got by the IWI booth and looked at their bullpups, did you?

Kel-Tec bullpups are supposedly better for ambi shooters, but I have never seen them outside of SHOT. ILya |
