I saw one at the gun show last Saturday.
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

I'm not sure what I think of that.

Has anyone there shot one?

Pivoting trigger. That would feel diff on the good ole 1911. Thats a nice gun. Wowza
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Can't get the video to embed.  Here is a link of Jerry Miculek giving it a run.

Definitely a novelty and fireball is impressive.  I like the Coonan more than the Desert Eagle.

Novelty indeed.  Calling it a "1911" is a bit of a stretch.

Interesting concept, probably took some time to engineer that caliber in that platform.

Grip frame is thinner, but wider fore and aft.  Angle of the grip frame also seemed different to me.

It is fun to shoot and you'll get noticed at the range with lots of new friends wanting to use your ammo up shooting it themselves.

Misanthrop that I am, that is enough for me to swear off that gun forever.

While I would love to do something like that, I think it would diminish the value of what it is brand new.

Coonan arms made some of these quite a few years back (early 90's) then went defunct IIRC.  I heard that someone had brought them back into production recently but hadn't seen one till now.
