My Bark River Smoke Jumper is not a true custom. But it is fine knife that never made it into full production with this semi-production company. Most of their knives are from A-2 steel. But this sweetie came in 50-100B with a 6 inch blade. It was given to me by a friend many years ago for a graduation present and will always be around when I am in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This picture is old and I found it while fishing around. |

Very nice Doug, looks like it will outlast most of us. Most of my knives are folders but that is very nicely proportioned, looks good.
For a retirement gift my son just gave me this knife (A5 Native) for my daily carry. I am not a metallurgist but I'm thinking it will be a challenge to resharpen. Blade is S110V, picture is for a different steel. |

Get some good Diamond stones and they are not to bad. I had a couple s110v blades and have a couple s90v blades. They don't seem much more difficult than s30v to sharpen IMO.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.
