I might actually go deer hunting hunting this year so I went to the club on Saturday. I figured I would shoot the M700KS in 30.06 I got from my brother since I haven't taken anything with it yet. I have a Kahles 1.5-6x42 on it in Talley QD mounts. My other 700KS is in 7 RM with a Kahles 2.2-9x42. I really like these discontinued custom shop offerings.

I was using Hornady M1 ammo with the 168 gr A-Max. It was raining with some 20 mph gusts. It was still fun and I was happy with the results. Oh, the club had North Peak IPA on tap too.

Good shootin' Doug. Sounds like the 19th hole was good also!

Thanks guys.

I have gone through the offerings at SWFA and see the Kahles C is still available in 2.5x10x50 http://swfa.com/Kahles-25-10x50-Helia-C-30mm-Riflescope-P77375.aspx. This is a really good thing because it is a premium scope for only $1399. When I look at the Zeiss and Swarovski offerings in this class, they are far more expensive. I now have four Kahles 30mm tube scopes and I think they are awesome. Too bad they only come in 2.5-10 now.
