the funny thing is, when the draft is held in Dallas this spring and the Reigning SUPER BOWL CHAMPION Philadelphia Eagles are introduced, the Eagles back up TE Trey Burton will have better stats for completions in the super bowl than either Romo or Dak.

Well, the Eagles now have 4 titles in fact. 3 from when they were just called "Championships" and one SB.
Speaking of ancient history, the Cowboys last SB was way back in the last century, in 1996. That was so long ago that people were actually wearing Zubaz, Hillary Clinton was able to walk down the sidewalk without collapsing from a spasm, and Al Gore had not yet invented the internet. But how have things trended since then? While the Eagles have won 13 playoff games since 1996; they should have not one but 2 superbowls - one was stolen because of the well documented cheating of the Patriots in 05. During that time the cowboys have won 2 lowly wildcard games. And of those 2, one can be attributed to an eqregious non-call for game changing PI by Hitchens against Pettigrew. |
