Anyone looked into these yet?  I have been reading and about the only barrels I can find right now are AR stoner (midway house brand) that are 18" long.  They are $140.  $140 seems like a red flag to me.  No way that barrel can be very accurate at that price.

Also been reading that with 18" barrels you are not gaining much velocity over a regular .223.  Not even close to what Nolser has in their marketing materials.  They probably use 24 or 26 in barrel to get their numbers.  I guess there is never a free lunch.

White oak armament are in the process of making barrels for them.  18" thru 26".  They would be the way to go, I have head several of their barrels over the years and they were hammers.

Very tempted to get a barrel.  Maybe a 22" white oak.  If you could get 3000 fps with 75 grain bullets, or 3150ish with the sierra 65 grain game kings.  That would be a sweet setup IMO.

I thought about it, since I divested my 22-250.  However, it would probably make more sense for me to get a 224 Predator.  Either is a handloading proposition, but I am already set-up to deal with a Grendel case.  If you already have 6.8SPC mags and bolts, 22 Nosler is probably a good choice.

I am not sure I believe their velocity claims, but that will be all verified soon enough.

It looks like the case is rebated to the .386 so it uses the same bolt as 223. I do have a bunch of pri 6.8 mags, which is another reason i kinda want one.

I do not have anything 6.8, but I have a bunch of Grendel stuff.

I was thinking of setting up a rifle with a quick removable handguard and two barrels: 6.5 Grendel and 224 Predator
