The ATF made me wait 8 months for the tax stamp, but it showed up valentines day. Nice huh? Got the lower engraved this week, and assembled it yesterday.
Its an Anderson lower, ALG trigger with lighter springs and stainless pins, Magpul triggrer guard, magpul gril and standard 6 position mil spec stock. Sig Romeo 5 sight. PSA upper, 11.5 stainless with M-lok forend and magpul grip. I put an AIM nitrided BCG in it with a bravo company charging handle with small extension. Got it sighted in today. Just red dot sight, no irons on it yet. Thinking I need a laser and a light next, and a way to attach a sling. Dude at the range was like, what are you shooting???? I love how compact it is. I printed a copy of the tax stamp and stuck in inside the pistol grip. Then I always have one. This lower was the worst of the 3 I put together as far as just not cooperating.

Did you enjoy how loud it was? My 11.5 even with a suppressor is freaking loud. With my suppressor it is just loud enough I want hearing protection still. Without it, it is ridiculous.
My 8" 300 blk even with subs and suppressor was louder than I thought it would be. Shoot the same rounds out of either of them with suppressor against their 16" counterparts and the diff is huge. But I do really like not having a barrel that is 25" long with suppressor. I have one Anderson lower, mine was a bit of a bugger too. You get what you pay for that is for sure. |

Is the Sig Romeo just another variation of the Holosun? They look quite similar. I have a holosun and think it is a great little red dot.
Oh, we need pics please. |

I have an 11.5 for room clearing - and making all occupants deaf. I've run it a few times stacked on others and every time they bitch about it. With a can, it is not bad, without, it is terrible.
I had to take a shot once with a guy next to me (on my right), apperantly just in the right position to get the brake blast and the sound. He still bitches about that, and loudly. Short is loud. Other option is a 9mm SBR, which is dramatically quieter but far from whisper. |

I have no idea how to load a picture.
They gave me foam for my ears and muffs. So I didn't notice it being that load. I think the Sig Romeo is a Holosun.

Congratulations! I'm assuming 5.56? I was going that rout but changed to 8" 300BLK SBR. I was expecting loud from and 8" barrel and supers but thought it was still quieter than my 5.56 with 16" barrel. I still wear ear plugs with suppressed 5.56 if I'm shooting at the range under the cover.
I also have a copy of my stamp in the grip. Don't forget any trust documents if that applies. I have SBR stamp, suppressor stamp and trust docs reduced to very small type and folded into the grip. I couldn't find any ruling on text size. Happy shooting! |

The tax stamp says the trust name and lists me as the person "in charge" or whatever. And trust name engraved on lower, so I think I am ok. I made an ATF file in my email, so I saved all the responses from them there to show as well.

I moved the front vertical grip back one opening in the fore end I like the M loc. It's easy to do things with.
The gun is unbelievably compact. I need to figure out sling options, and then work on a light and laser to add. Forget looking through red dot up close. Just put laser on it and bam. And thinking about a misson first tactical stock.
