Hi Guys Big Smile

I'm so new to target shooting and rifle scopes. I don't have a scope on my Ruger .22cal
TakeDown Rifle YET !

If you guys had my rifle what scope would you put on the RUGER TAKEDOWN 10/22 ?

Thanks, Guys 4 your patience with this newbie target shooter.

Schooner :-)
GOD bless you ALL

What type of target shooting are you doing? Is it a competitive type or just plinking?

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

How far away are your likely targets? Will they move? Do you have any issues with your eyes? How about upper body strength?

My 10/22TD sorts an old Burris 1.75-5x20.

Any compact scope will work fine. If your targets are mostly in the 25-75 yard range, Weaver Rimfire 2.5-7x28 is both inexpensive and well made.

Generally, what's your budget?

That Weaver is a great buy.
