I have an SWFA 1-6x24 and intend to use a Bobro single lever mount.  I have a few questions that someone may already know the answers to.

  1. Are the SWFA branded Bobro mounts (Slightly extended and Extended) fully identical to the corresponding Bobro part except for the addition of the SWFA logo?
  2. Is the placement of the front ring relative to the mount identical or different between the standard Bobro mount B03-200-300 and the slightly extended or close spaced Bobro mount B03-201-300?  (Is the front ring extended or in the same position?)
Anyone have a recommendation of which they would prefer of base model (200), slightly extended/close spaced (201) or extended (202) for use with the SWFA 1-6x24?

Thanks.

Bobro provided me with quick answers via telephone:

1.  SWFA branded are identical (except for additional logo) to corresponding regular models.
2.  Closely spaced (sometimes called slightly extended) have the exact same front ring position.

I measured the position on the scope tube and noted that the closely spaced allow about an equal maximum forward position and the regular (200 model) will allow a more rearward position if desired.

Ordered the 200 model and look forward to mounting and testing...

Bobro was easy to contact and provided quick accurate responses.

Thank you for coming back and reporting. I love Bobro stuff.
If at first you don't secede...try..try again.
