I got my load nailed down for this rifle now.  41.2 grains h4350 with a 143 ELD-x.  Converted Lapua 22-250 brass.  Getting average of 2570 fps from the 20" barrel.  I was able to get it over 2600 with a bit hotter load, but decided to go lower so it didn't stress the brass so much.

Yesterday I put 10 shots fired fairly quick into a .8 inch group.  Not a single flier caused by me or the gun.  I am just tickled to death that a factory rifle can shoot so well.

Now I just hope I can find me a nice big Muley to shoot with it.

Tikka is among the best values in off-the-shelf rifles, in my opinion.  I have yet to have one disappoint in accuracy.

If you run out of 4350, imr 4831 has done very well for me with the 123 amax.
That thing on the left....my old ride, some days I miss her.

I am seriously considering a T3x TAC A1. Will probably get one next year. My Savage Axis with MDT chassis, trigger upgrade, etc, just doesn't have good enough of a barrel. Tikka are indeed the best value for off the shelf.
JLud,
i am shooting 44 grains of H4350 under the AMax 123. Shoots well enough for hunting, but i will run out of powder soon and it is a stiff load. Was thinking of Varget, did not consider 4831.
What kind of brass, primer, and powder charge are you using? I always develop two good loads for each of my rifles: a hot one for hunting and a very mild one for practice and economic (including long barrel life) shooting.

Rl-17 is also a good option for the creedmoor. They are right next to each other on the burn chart

Im using IMR 4831, 45.0 grains in my Tikka CTR.  COAL is at 2.83, 123 amax, nosler brass.  I have a fixed 6 power SS on it, best group I have with that scope and just off sand bag is .211.

I have some H4350 which did well but am saving it, bought some IMR4451 Enduron which I think tries to simulate the temp sensitivity part of H4350.  Have not used it yet but was readily available.

Can not say enough good things about Tikka...I have a super varminter, varminter, sporter, ctr, and hunter.  I would buy a Tikka over anything close in price range, and if you can find and old regular T3 instead of the T3x you can get some great deals.  I bought my 270 hunter for 498 bucks brand spanking new.

That thing on the left....my old ride, some days I miss her.
