You can always to come up with more applications for all the different dimensions (for example, I can make use of the triangle size to gauge distance to an object he size of a human head), but a holographic sight is not designed for long range engagement, so overthinking it is probably not necessary.

It can give you good precision when you want to slow down, but it really is designed for two operating modes: going fast and going really fast.  If you are not doing those two, get a proper focusing optic.

I was thinking about it as a replacement for the Eotech I sent back for the refund.

Quick update: I like it. It still looks blocky but is not particularly cumbersome.

The the reticle is useful. The second aiming point is pretty accurate, it just requires some mechanical offset training. The primary aiming point at 100 gets the triangle pretty well centered at about 15 yards for me.

I like holo with a magnifier much more than red dot with magnifier.

On the range for drills in 2 weeks, more to follow.
