Hello friends. Need your advice on the Bushnell Legend M Series 8x42 vs the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42. I already have the Ultra HD and wanted to know own if the Legend M series is really a step up from the Ultra HD. Mainly wanted to know if the M Series is a step up in optical quality and low light viewing. Using them for scouting and hunting. I see that they are larger and heavier than the Ultra HDs, but they have an open bridge design that is nice. If the Legend M Series {found them for $160} is a step up or not and worth it, I'd appreciate your thoughts and advice.
Thanks, Jeff |

I have tried the Ultra HD some years back, and never could get used to that model, not sure why. I did recently purchase the Legend M series you mention, and I really like it. A very nice, bright and wide FOV. Large sweet spot, and this is an entirely new binocular, and nothing like the Ultra HD. I recommend the Legend M, I have the 8x42. |

After reading many positive reviews, I ordered up a new pair of the Legend M's (at a deeply discounted price) in 8x42 and I'm looking forward to give them an outing this weekend.

o.k. Just ordered these yesterday and they were on my doorstep to tonight!
Cut to the chase: Super impressive glass. Even at $400 retail they'd be impressive. Killer deal.

Bushnell just sweetened the pot on this deal. For the month of March they are offering a 30% rebate in the form of a pre-paid Visa card fro all Bushnell scopes and bino's. You can now pick up the Legend M's in 8x42 for $107.
