I have searched the forums and can't find what covers are compatible with the SWFA SS 1-6HD. I just ordered one from the Memorial day sale and it didn't come with any caps. I'd prefer not a Butler Creek as I have some and the quality is so so. Is there a set of better quality that won't break the bank (<$60)?

Thanks for the reply but I went the Butler Creek route.

Sucker, I'd maybe keep track of the Vortex details. I've been using Butler Creeks for 20+ years, and everything produced in the past several years is all but disposable. They may work fine right now, but with any use other than sitting in a gun safe, they'll break soon. I'd do freebie, cheapo covers that usually come with scopes long before I put money down on Butler Creeks. Voice of experience.

Noted. I will keep them in mind. I know for a fact they aren't the best. It was one of those weak moment buys when I should have looked harder.

I look at them with an attitude that they are consumables. Like batteries for my camera. It is going to die or have to be replaced. It's something that will last forever.
Although I also think that covers are a cheap insurance policy too. Protecting your lenses from debris and damage. Ten bucks on covers or $200 minimum on a new scope?
