Mount recommendations for a Montana99 Shilen 24" #3 contour sporter all stainless bead blast matte hardware. Three barrels three sets of rings, two scopes. SS 6X42 & 10X42. This is a takedown switch barrel one buttstock three fore ends. Brown laminate stock.

I want to resist too many bells and whistles, but would like to add sine/cosine and anticant. I go back and forth on if I should've gone for stiffer barrels but this is to be a cold weather, small aircraft frequent flyer, hunting tool, not a range queen. 25-06AI, 30-06AI, 338-06AI.

Not sure you can get all the tactical bells you are wanting made in stainless. In a swap barrel situation it would be better off with a scope dedicated to each barrel. Rezeroing and resetting the turrets with each swap of a scope between barrels will be time and ammunition consuming over several barrel swaps.

Yes, the Talley QD lever style rings are probably your best bet for a 2-pc base "affordable" quick-detach scope mount system in terms of ability to return to zero. I believe the Recknagel "swing mounts" are more repeatable at returning to zero, but they are very expensive.
I wonder how well this rig will return to zero given BOTH 3 QD scope/mount AND 3 QD barrel/forend sets and how well it will continue to return to zero long-term after repeated assembly & disassembly? Long term success requires a very tight, well-designed, well-made joint between receiver and barrel. Keep us posted on what you decide.

I may well make a choice to go with a third scope after I have shot them a bit, though the 338-06AI and 30-06AI are remarkably similar ballistically on paper at least and with hand loads may be well within reasonable hunting accuracies especially with a ranging dope chart. What are the suggested rings / mounting for the rifle I described?

Thanks so much for the reply, I will check out the recknagles, there ain't much cheap about this. It started out as a Savage barrel swap, and has grown from there. I plan on several hunts per year with planning and practice in between. This is to be a small plane frequent flyer more than a daily shooter or range queen. The #3 contour is the compromise for ease of packing and reasonable field hunting expectations. In perfect world It might be stiffer, the scope pricier...But the goal is to actually hunt. I like the looks of Randy Selby's work and hope it comes close to expectations. As far as stainless O have fewer esthetic concerns than dissimilar metal thoughts (crazy cathodic protection background I know that the conditions are not likely to encourage the issue is sitting in sea water for 20 years, LoL)

You will almost certainly need 3 scopes for a 3-barrel breakdown rifle system. The probability than any 2 barrels will provide remotely close POI to each other is pretty slim.
...Unless you want to go with a 1 pc Picatinny rail, which opens up many more ring possibilities. To me, a Pic rail looks clunky on a Mauser style action, and blocks part of the ejection port, but aesthetics aside, it might offer better POI return potential.
