We are getting my dad a 6mm creedmoor ruger rpr for his bday. I need to scope it.
My first thought is SWFA 5-20x non illuminated. Anything else in the $1000 to $1200 range that is better? |

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

https://youtu.be/wcnikG1Vofc I found this rather interesting. Just think the SWFA 5-20X50 should have been included.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

SS is definitely the most proven choice.
In terms if features, Ares ETR looks very promising, but I just received it, so it is still early. PST Gen2 is not quite as good as the SSHD optically, but it is up there. I have a 5-25x here somewhere, so after I compare it to the Ares, you are welcome to borrow it and see if you like it. |

I pretty sure we can give you a sweet deal on a SS, maybe even better than the crazy Black Friday deal that Brady is cooking up right now.

I just linked up to it, but I found it on TFB. It's on the second page I believe.

Excellent choice! I love my RPR in 6mm Creedmoor.
When you get it, be sure to run your serial number for the bolt shroud recall issue: https://ruger.com/dataProcess/rprSafety/index.php?r=y

Well apparently my dad had been snooping in the emails back and forth between my mom, sisters, and me and he went and bought a scope himself with his cabelasclub points he had. He had near $1500 in points. He bought a Vortex PST 5-25x mil scope and the Vortex Seekins rings. So much for a surprise.
