I seen alot of people liked the older Sig rangefinders. Has anyone got any of the new BDX models, specifically the 1400 and how do they do?

I used one that a buddy had just bought. Compared it side by side with my older bushnell arc 1200. Both were within 5 yards on objects from 25yds to over 800yds. I did find the sig was easier to lock onto target than the older bushnell but not enough for me to buy one being my arc still works.

I have the Bushnell 1500 Elite (ARC) and the SIG KILO 2000. SIG has longer reach, but I've not performed a full scale comparison of equivalence at distance. I've compared out to 500 meters and they were within a meter of each other. The SIG is smaller/lighter, optics are a little cleaner (some minor graininess to the Bushnell...not apparent in the SIG). I had originally thought to get rid of the Bushnell, but decided to keep it... both are good, both do the job. I keep one in my field pack, one on my bench for around the homestead stuff. Trade out every now and then.
