Hello All, I am a new member and this my first post. not sure if this question has come up in the past. I have following optics: Meopta meostar 8x32 Swarovski 8.5x42 EL Meopta S spotter with 30-60WA Even though I am highly impressed with Meopta , I am not sure what to get for my next big glass. Does anybody have good experience with options from both Meopta and Swarovski ? if yes, how close does Meopta 15x56 performs to Swarovski 15x56? does AK prism in swaro beat the SP prism in Meopta by a big margin or is it barely noticeable? TIA Jay |

I have some experience here, and I spend too much time reading reviews. I have the Meopta Meostar 12x50 HD, and it is a very nice binocular, and Meopta does a nice job in their latest models. I also have the Swarovski 15x56 SLC Neu, and it is very good, and from what I know it is a step behind the new SLC 15x56 HD. The Meopta 15x56 would be a bit behind both of these. The Zeiss Conquest 15x56 HD, is in the same class, just a bit below, I have that one also. Swarovski is still king of the big binoculars.

You will be the only one to answer this question. Will you spend many hours behind them, and how good is your eyesight. Also do you have a good sturdy tripod, and your budget, those are most important. These are all very good binoculars, so good luck in your decision.
